“Smitty’s Pronto Pups” is a new, fun, seasonal outdoor walk-up eating establishment located at 2233 Ottawa Beach Road in the resort area near the entrance to the Holland State Park (About 300 ft. before you get to the General Store, but located on the bike path side of the road). The business will offer fabulously delicious deep fried hot-dogs on a stick, made in front of your eyes, while you wait, at our unique nautical site. Our Menu also inlcudes hot, soft pretzels, including yummy sourdough cinnamon, big cold pickles on a stick, Fresh Squeezed Lemonade and Coca Cola product soft drinks.

Customers will enjoy dining at this creatively designed, wayside beach setting while enjoying the spectacular views of Holland’s significant attractions Mt. Pisgah and Lake Macatawa! Our site will accommodate limited vehicle parking with convenient access off of Third Ave. that will be closely monitored for customer use only.

Please do not plan to leave your vehicle parked in our lot while visiting the new stairs to the top of Mt. Pisgah.

Although we appreciate your patronage of our business, our limited parking area cannot accommodate for the lack of a parking area for this new trailhead. There is a small parking lot next to the Coast Guard station with 2 hour parking, and additional parking along Ottawa Beach Rd. near the Ottawa Beach Inn restaurant. Vehicles left behind by dune climbers will be towed. This is something we do not want to do, but will, so please be advised of the approximate maximum parking of 30 minutes.

Pronto-Pups have been around since the late 1940’s and the name is synonymous with fun! We look forward to serving you.
